Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad
-
The folksy narration, clarity of
sound, and outstanding photography of
this video create an atmosphere of
fun and wonderment that is only
second to riding the Mt. Rainier
Scenic R.R. in person. You'll
actually go on two train rides each
pulled by a mighty steam locomotive -
one a Heisler, the other a Mikado.
-
Extra -- You'll also enjoy bonus
footage from the Chehalis &
Centralia Railroad, the Sumpter Valley
Railway and the Yreka Western
Railroad.

Yreka Western Railroad
-
That's not thunder you hear, it's
the powerful sounds of a 1915 Baldwin
steam engine rumbling across northern
California's scenic Shasta Valley. The
locomotive affectionately known as the
"Blue Goose" is pulling you through
working lumber mills and cattle
ranches. All in the presence of cattle
and in the shadow of majestic 14,162
foot Mt. Shasta.

Sumpter Valley Railroad
-
Come ride (via video) through the
Sumpter Valley aboard the "Stump
Dodger." This 1915 gear-driven Heisler
will take you on a journey through time
and history. You'll experience the
Sumpter Valley dredge tailings and even
see the "old dredging ship." So come
aboard the "Stump Dodger!"

The Anacortes Railway
-
Come ride, the Anacortes Railway, one
of the most unique railroads in the
world. This hand built 18 inch narrow
gauge railroad features a Forney-type
steam engine pulling luxurious
passenger cars. Cherry-wood
interiors, red velvet cushions, cut
flowers, plus carpeting, gleaming
brass, and a marble fireplace make
this a one of a kind experience.
-
Plus -- bonus scenes from the
wonderful British Columbia Forest
Museum.
